His public work is widely recognized in the United States and around the world. His first book, The Self-Healing Mind: An Essential Five Step Practice for Overcoming Anxiety and Depression, and Revitalizing Your Life, is available in five languages including: English, Mandarin, Portuguese, Turkish, and Polish. His commentary has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, National Public Radio, the Today Show, Live with Kelly and Mark, and the PBS News Hour. He has given numerous talks for organizations including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, TEDx, SXSW, and the Eudemonia Summit. In 2026, he was inducted into the American College of Psychiatrists, an organization that recognizes psychiatrists who have demonstrated excellence in the field and achieved national recognition in clinical practice, research, academics, or teaching.
